About the Author

Jeff VanderMeer is an author, editor, publisher, reviewer, essayist and blogger whose published works include The City of Saints and Madmen, The Thackery T. Lambshead Pocket Guide to Eccentric and Discredited Diseases, Veniss Underground and Shriek: An Afterword. He has twice won the World Fantasy Award for his fiction. His short film based on The Situation will be released in Spring 2008.
